CeLLife Technologies welcomes new board members with AI and IPR expertise

To strengthen its standing in the global technology arena, CeLLife is expanding its board with elite professionals.

Dr. Tero Ojanperä began his tenure as Chairman of the Board on September 9th, 2024. A visionary technologist and pioneering entrepreneur, he is also the Co-founder of Silo AI, Europe’s largest private AI lab. Under his leadership, Silo AI was acquired by AMD for $665 million, the largest AI acquisition in Europe in the past decade. 

His latest book, “AI Revolution—The Handbook,” offers practical guidance on using ChatGPT and other AI tools while exploring the technology behind large language models, their applications, and societal impacts. He is also the co-author of "Platform Strategy: Transform Your Business with AI, Platforms, and Human Intelligence"; a blueprint for businesses in the digital age.

Joining Tero on the board are Mr. Paul Melin, who brings over 20 years of executive experience in the technology sector, including positions at Nokia and Vaisala, with a focus on patents that will enhance CeLLife's strong IPR position. His background includes substantial experience commercializing technologies, managing intellectual property, negotiating partnerships and business agreements, and building
organizations.

Also appointed is Mr. Tero Mennander, a General Partner at Ventech, an early-stage investment firm that supported CeLLife in raising €2 million in seed funding earlier this year, overseeing investments in the Nordic and Baltic regions. He brings a wealth of operational, entrepreneurial, and investment expertise in driving innovation.

The fourth member of the board is Mr. Marko Tulonen, who works as a CSO at CeLLife and is also one of the founders of the company. He has been instrumental in driving the international expansion and development of numerous startups and growth companies, with a particular emphasis on business development, strategic planning, and financing.
