About BAT Circle 3.0
Managed by Aalto University, the Finland-based Circular Ecosystem of Battery Metals consortium (BAT Circle) aims to improve the manufacturing processes in the mining, metals, and battery chemicals industries, as well as increase the recycling of lithium-ion batteries. Its goal is to strengthen cooperation between companies and research organizations in Finland. The original BAT Circle project ran from 2019 to 2021, while the follow-up project (BAT Circle 2.0) was launched on May 1, 2021, and concluded with fruitful results, laying a solid foundation for the development of BAT Circle 3.0
